Seinfeld Mango Scene

This is one my all time favourite Seinfeld moments: when Kramer gets banned from the local fruit store for trying to return a bad peach. Jerry is left to buy the fruit on Kramer’s strange list for him and it is very, very funny! I work in a fruit/vegetable department at a supermarket so I find it particularly amusing how Kramer doesn’t want to have to resort to buying his fruit at the supermarket because ‘the apples are mealy, the oranges are dry, I don’t know what’s going on with the papayas!’ It’s also funny how picky Kramer is with his fruit, wanting avocados that are soft, but not too soft, and plums ‘that are red on the inside’! This is exactly how customers are when they buy their fruit, Seinfeld nailed this one.

What Would You Do If You Saw a Child Being Abducted?

This short video highlights an interesting study in Psychology, the bystander effect. This is where people diffuse responsibility if they are confronted with a crime, where many other bystanders are present. Almost every person thinks that someone else can handle it, so therefore they don’t have to.

What would you do in this situation? Be honest.

Proof That Aliens Exist?

This amazing video on crop circles will blow your mind. These things pop up over night and feature geometric patterns so large, symmetric and intricate, that it would take a whole team of humans months to complete. A few companies, such as firefox, have created crop circles for advertising purposes, and even they took a team of people more than overnight to complete (simple logo aswell). Whoever is making these crop circles is also somehow not damaging the crop, and is actually bending it at a certain angle as to promote growth! Apparently phones also get whack signals in crop circles, and there has been electromagnetic readings in their center.

I’m not saying this is proof that aliens exist, but it’s still cool to think about.
