My First Manga Drawing – Unit 01 (Neon Genesis Evangelion)

Ghost in the Shell: The Philosophy of Technology

Ghost in the Shell is a sci-fi anime masterpiece set in the future where technology has spawned cyborgs, cybernetic enhancements, and super artifical intelligence. If it wasn’t for Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix would never have hit the cinemas. The above clips from the movie showcase three of the films most philosophical moments, so if you have no intention of watching it from start to finish, you can at least absorb some of it’s most profound moments.

Trunks Turns Super Saiyan For the First Time

Dragonball Z is probably the best show ever made; this is a great scene from the Buu saga of DBZ which shows Vegeta and his son Trunks training in a gravity chamber. Trunks turns super saiyan for the first time, effortlessly, which stabs Vegeta’s pride because he worked so hard to achieve the state and has to watch his son surpass him at such a young age. He then realises that his time is up and his only chance of surpassing Goku is by training his son to be stronger than Goku’s son Goten. If you never watched DBZ then this will no doubt sound like a mess to you, but if you had a childhood, then you will love this!
